Charles Foltz, goes by “Chuck” and has spent his whole life and education in the Philadelphia area.  He attended Saint Joseph’s Prep, and graduated cum laude from Temple University in the Honors Program. He earned his law degree from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law in 2021, where he developed a singular focus on criminal defense. Before graduating, Chuck gained experience through clinics and internships with the Federal Community Defender for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Defender Association, and Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, in addition to serving as a summer law clerk for a federal judge.

Bringing years of comprehensive criminal legal experience to every case, Chuck is laser-focused on trial readiness. As a former Assistant Public Defender in Philadelphia and law clerk to a criminal judge in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Chuck understands the commitment that goes into trying cases at a high level. 

Chuck has represented hundreds of clients on cases ranging from serious felonies, such as robbery, aggravated assault, drug dealing and gun cases, to misdemeanor thefts and DUIs. Chuck’s experience includes preliminary hearings, misdemeanor and felony bench trials, and jury trials. 

Chuck understands that facing criminal charges is one of the most difficult experiences a person can endure. That is why his representation is built on a foundation of unwavering and meticulous advocacy. Chuck believes that a successful defense requires relentless effort, immediate action, and a lawyer who is not afraid to stand up to the prosecution and the police.
